Bird Watching

Bird Watching

With over 265 different species, including seasonal migrants and a large variety of habitats in close proximity, Tomjachu Bush Retreat is the ideal place for bird enthusiasts to freely roam the extensive 30 kilometres of tracks and trails without the threat of dangerous animals.

Witness a Fish Eagle plucking bass from South Dam, patiently watch the Masked Weavers methodically building their nest, or be enthralled by the Dabchicks skating across North Dam; the sightings are endless. There have even been sightings of the rare and illusive Blue Swallow.
