Phase 1 of the new bird hide!

There is never a dull moment at Tomjachu. We are always looking to improve the environment for our guests and ‘wild guests’ alike. Here the team are working on Phase 1 of the new bird hide to be erected at Tom’s Dam. We are currently busy planting the poles for the hide and putting dead trees in for the kingfishers and fish eagles to fish from before the rains come. Hopefully this year the rains will fill the dam again.

We are hoping to complete the hide early next year (around February) and spectacular sightings are anticipated! Look out for updates.
