We are delighted to announce that Keeper’s Cottage has now reopened with a new look! The cottage has had a new modern bathroom fitted, with water-saving plumbing for conservation purposes. It also has had a new kitchen installed, as well as the addition of a new boma area outside to create even more privacy for guests staying in the cottage. There has also been work done in the gardens to introduce some indigenous plants to attract local wildlife, with plants such as Strelitzias (crane flower) included to attract birdlife, particularly sunbirds in the winter. We have also cleared some of the bush in front of the cottage to open up the stunning views across the mountains bringing more light into the cottage. The bedroom has been refitted to create a more open and luxurious space, and the cottage has had a full soft furnishing refit, combining modern African bush styling with Family antiques which honour the history of the property. We hope that our guests will continue to enjoy the new look of Keeper’s Cottage as they did previously.
