Tomjachu Bush Retreat is a perfect location for intimate destination weddings, offering stunning bush locations for your ceremony, and beautiful accommodation for up to 32 people.
We cater for small to medium weddings, from just the two of you, up to a maximum of 80 guests. On the reserve we have a number of unique locations where ceremonies and receptions can be held, all with incredible mountain views creating the perfect backdrop for your special day. If being out in the bush isn’t your cup of tea, the lawns at our Historic Homestead beneath the shade of a giant fig tree, or at our exclusive Valbonne Villa, offer a more traditional alternative.

Depending on the size of your wedding, we offer bush dining experiences under the glittering stars, in our cosy bedouin stretch tent, or on our extensive veranda at the Homestead which can seat up to 80 people, with plenty of space to dance the night away.
All weddings at Tomjachu are unique, and therefore we do not offer standard packages, but instead provide individual quotes based on your requirements. We always encourage a site visit so that we can best understand what you desire from your big day. Whilst we do not offer wedding planning services, we would be delighted to put you in touch with some excellent planners if you require.

If marriage is on your mind and you are in search of that special unforgettable setting – look no further. Throughout our 500ha property there is an abundance of picturesque, private places where you can pop the big question. We offer romantic picnic baskets including a bottle of bubbles, and can arrange for it to be set up at your chosen spot on the property. If you have special requests we are always happy and willing to help make your vision a reality.
From the trickling waterfall at Gordon’s Pools to the epic views of Zebra Heights, your partner will be in no doubt about your choice of location, so all you’ll have to do is choose the ring and bend the knee!

Birthday celebrations, baby showers, year-end functions and everything in between which is worth celebrating – we can host them all. Whether it is a lunch with a few friends on the Homestead veranda, a picnic-style celebration under the Big Fig or a larger event under the bedouin stretch tent on the cool banks of South Dam, we have a number of options available for you to celebrate in style.
